Abstract

"A Group of Kültepe Tablets Belonged To Local People" Among the Kültepe tablets, there are very few documents belonging to the local people of Anatolia. The vast majority of them are related to debt-claims between the local people themselves. Due to the increasing number of I-b tablets in recent years, many issues unknown about the Anatolian people have been brought to enlighten. With the help of new studies about the local people, the information in these issues is increasing steadily. In this study, we are going to present ten tablets found in 1950 Kültepe excavations, mostly composed of debt notes belonging to Anatolian merchants.
