Journal Title: The Journal of International Social Research - Year 2009, Vol 2, Issue 7

Abstract

In today’s world, “growing up” is not what it used to be. Today young people ( referred as 15-24 old years by UNESCO) has different educational, family, employment, and health experiences that depart in major ways from those of youth one or two generations ago. These different experiences can be attributed to the effects of globalization, technological advances, and widespread economic development. Perception of youth’s problem is different from the past due to these developments. The main aim of this study is to explore youth’s experiences e.g., their attitudes, perceptions and motivations, and their achievements in life in a case of Trabzon.
