Abstract
ON THE MORFOLOGICAL ADAPTATION OF ENGLISH LOAN WORDS IN THE BULGARIAN LANGUAGE This paper deals with the morphological adaptation of English loan words in the Bulgarian language. It focuses on how morphological forms and morphological markers of English words are rendered in the corresponding loan words. The morphological aspects discussed are markers of gender and number of noun loan words, verb and adjective forming suffixes. General models of these have been outlined and examples of some exceptions have been given.
