Zarys historii "Przeglądu Bibliotecznego"

Abstract
The aim of the article is to present the most important facts from the history of „Przegląd Biblioteczny” („Library Review”), as the oldest periodical for librarians appearing in Poland until now. There were described the main problems and difficulties encountered by the editors on the background of political facts in the years 1927-1939, 1946-1989 and after 1989 and also the contribution of periodical to the development of bibliology in Poland. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie najważniejszych faktów z dziejów „Przeglądu Bibliotecznego”, najstarszego bibliotekarskiego ukazującego się w Polsce do chwili obecnej. Opisane zostały najważniejsze problemy i trudności napotkane przez redakcję na tle wydarzeń politycznych w okresie dwudziestolecia międzywojennego, czasów PRL i III Rzeczpospolitej, a także wkład pisma w rozwój bibliologii w Polsce.
