Journal Title: Otolaryngologia Polska - Year 2008, Vol 62, Issue 2
Abstract
There is evidence that a link exists between the upper and lower respiratory tracts. The infl ammatory process in the nose and bronchi explains some of the complex interactions among different clinical diseases, such as rhinosinusitis, asthma, bronchial hyperresponsiveness and viral infections.
