ЖИЛИЩНАЯ АНТИНОРМА В СВЕТЕ ЯЗЫКОВОГО КОНЦЕПТА ДОМА

Abstract
We try to reconstruct national cultural norm of "bad dwelling". We talk about housing that is perceived as alien, dangerous, not suitable to the traditional way of life and needs, as a source of housing deprivation. Attention is focused on the house as a material object, on attributes that determine its low consumer quality. We conclude that dwelling is of instrumental value, that the model of house as a material system is of cumulative nature, that the Russians are over-tolerant to low-quality housing conditions, that crowding is treated as not only permissible but desirable. Language picture of the world says little about the comfort, about sanitary conditions and appearance of housing, denies the importance of adequate size of living space, number of dwellings, but very carefully refers to proxemics,to the completeness and abundance, is very sensitive to the right of ownership and the ability of the space to be personalized.
