ZINC COATINGS ON STEEL SUBSTRATE ATTAINED BY DIFFERENT ELEMENTS ADDED
Journal Title: TEHNOMUS - Year 2011, Vol 18, Issue 1
Abstract
The purpose of this work was to identify the influence of different process variables, such as bath temperature, immersion time and bath alloy additions, on the morphology and coating thickness attained using innovative alloys systems containing different percentages of Ni, Pb, Sn and Bi. Steel samples were galvanized by the hot-dip method in micro alloyed zinc baths at different temps and temperatures Experiments were aimed to obtain zinc coatings with increased resistance to corrosion, which adheres very well to steel support, not conducive Fe-Zn reactions, not have negative environmental impacts and presents uniformly dispersed phase structure in zinc matrix. Layers obtained in micro alloyed zinc with nickel, bismuth, tin, lead are analyzed.

EVALUATION OF TERMO-GAS DYNAMIC PARAMETERS FOR ENGINE BRAKE PROCESS
In this work is presented the mathematical model to calculate the thermo-gas dynamic parameters that define the brake engine. This model can be used both for determining the state of the parameters of the working fluid i...
THEORETICAL CONSIDERATIONS ABOUT ENERGETICAL PARAMETERS OF SHEET METAL BENDING ON MACHINES WITH ROLLERS
The paper presents a theoretical stress and deformation state analysis in plastically bending with cold-hardening sheet metal. With the relations established it have determined the inner deformation forces, moment with t...
INFLUENCE OF POLYMER CONCENTRATION ON THE PERMEATION PROPERTIES OF NANOFILTRATION MEMBRANES
Driving force membrane processes seem to be most useful for water treatment. Membranes are very effective in removing a wide variety of water contaminants. Therefore, the use of these processes in water purification to r...
CONSIDERATIONS REGARDING THE FUNCTIONALITY OF THE CHUCK COLLETS
In this paper the authors aim to present the theoretical study of functionality of clenching mechanisms such as chuck collets, abbreviated MBE. For these chuck collets to function properly, a value for the angle of th...
