Abstract
The Importance of New Digital Media in Early Childhood Teacher Training in the Context of the Modernization of Didactic Process This article aims to show the importance of the role of new digital media in preparing professional teachers of early childhood education and determine the proficiency level of their competency in the field of ICT. Modern educational environment relies increasingly on digital media. Now, new information and communication technologies are becoming not only a useful tool but also an integral part of the education process. To exploit fully the potential of new digital media, the future teachers should have appropriate knowledge and skills. The paper presents the research results, which was carried out to identify areas of ICT that require additional educational activities.
