Abstract
The paper reveals the fundamental role of information, presents an analysis of the socio-cultural phenomenon, as the informatization of society, which led to the emergence of contradictions in the field of education and pedagogical science. Based on the definition of the concepts of “activity”, "information", "educational activity" revealed the pedagogical essence of learning activities in a computer environment.
