Abstract

Photosynthetic apparatus of all organisms contains light absorbing pigments. Cyanobacteria pigments may be divided into three groups – chlorophylls, carotenoids and phycobiliproteins. Pigments may be used in the food and pharmaceutical industry.

Abstract

We investigated the dynamics of microorganisms in the gray forest soil contaminated by petroleum products in concentrations from 0 to 20%. Found that the pollution over 7 months was accompanied by increased numbers of ammonifying, mineral and organo phosphate mobilizing, polysaccharide synthesizing microorganisms and decrease the number of nitrifying bacteria. Number of polysaccharide synthesizing bacteria are directly involved in the degradation of petroleum products increased compared to non-contaminated soil at a concentration of 1% oil - 1.78 times at 5% - 33.3, 10% - 60.9, with 20% - 30.8 times. The dependence of the number of autochtonic microorganisms on the concentration of oil comes after a 7-month incubation of contaminated soil. Along with the decrease in the number of autochthonous microbial activity weakened mineralization of humus compounds: oil products at a concentration of 5% - 10.5 times, with a concentration of 10% - 16.8, at a concentration of 20% - to 7.5 times.

Abstract

The impact of different rates of herbicide Lintur 70 WG (90; 100; 120 and 140 g/ha) applied separately and in the mixtures with biological preparation Agat-25K on the number of microbiota of spring barley leaves and grains was studied. It has been found that under the application of herbicide Lintur 70 WG applied separately and in the mixtures with biological preparation Agat-25K the number of epigenous bacteria of spring barley leaves increases and decreases with rates escalation of Lintur 70WG in the mixtures with Agat-25K. The lowest contamination of spring barley grains with microbiota is observed when the plantings are treated with the mixture of Lintur 70 WG100 g/ha + Agat-25K. While large grain size is being formed the number of epigenous bacteria in comparison with control decreases by 20% and the number of grain affected by subepidermal fungi – by 62%.

Abstract

The analysis of genetic structure of carps Ukrainian framed and scaled breeds has been carried out. With help of six genetic-biochemical systems was find out breed specificity of carps genetic structure. Excess of heterozygotic genotypes by loci ALB, MDH, ME, CA was established.

Abstract

High pour point and low combustion heat were defined as the major disadvantages of biodiesel type motor fuels. We have proposed to add wood biomass derived bicyclic compound hydrocarbon (1S,5S)-6,6-dimethyl-2-ethylenebicyclo [3.1.1] heptane (C10H16) into fat acids methyl esters (FAME) type biofuel to improve its performance and ecological qualities. A novel blended 100% biofuel is thus obtained. For a comparision we have studied performance properties of the methyl ester of rape oil (MERO) mixture with mineral diesel fuel. It was determined that the optimal performance characteristics of such fuel mixture is near 30% of MERO. Density, kinematic viscosity, pour point and combustion heat of the blends were investigated: measured, calculated, and analyzed.

Abstract

Scientific developments have taken place and there has been offered a new approach to utilization of sediment from municipal sewage for receiving biogas and fertilizers. That will allow for implementation of the zero-emission biotechnologies of receiving biogas and organic- mineral fertilizers from harmful communal wastes. Biogas generating systems of VP - 1 type have been developed and tested in experimental conditions. These systems are able to eliminate harmful waste, receive a complex organic-mineral fertilizer from this waste, increase a few times the exit of gas fuel from the waste as compared to existing fermenters (bioreactors), provide the protection of the environment from organic waste contamination, extend the possibilities of using small bioenergy systems in country cottage yards and farm estates, and increase the efficiency of the energy systems that have to transform waste into fuel.

Abstract

The range of temperatures, at which cellulase activity of fungi of Fusarium genus is minimum, is certain. On the basis of finding it is suggested to carry out concrete measures for warning of biodegradation of cellulose materials which will inhibit cellulases of pathogenic fungi on the stage of their minimum activity.

Abstract

The article shows analyzes of the current scientific data that relate to the biological properties of aflatoxins as dangerous ecotoxicants, nature and patterns of distribution of the main producing mycotoxins fungi, toxic effects and action mechanisms of toxins on human and animal organisms. These data suggest that environmental contamination by these pollutants, their concentration in phytogenic foods and feed raw materials poses a potential hazard to human health, leading to the losses due to high morbidity and mortality of livestock animals. Therefore, the study of bioaccumulation process and further development of aflatoxins management system are urgent questions of modern science.

Abstract

Is investigated the role konsortive of adults beetle Kuzka (Anisoplia austriaca Hrbst. 1783) in the functioning of phytocenoses wheat soft, rye, triticale winter. Installed the amount, density and harmfulness of populations Anisoplia austriaca Hrbst. in the dynamics on different genotypes of grain of winter crops. By the probability of being ecological niche for imago Anisoplia austriaca Hrbst. genotypes of soft wheat, triticale and rye are differentiated into the following groups: weakly probable, probable and strongly probable ecological niches.

Abstract

In this work were conducted development and characterization of enzyme immunoassay (ELISA) to determine total IgE-antibodies using tyramine-biotin reagent (TBR). It was shown that the use of ELISA modifications with avidin-biotin amplification (ABA) and TBR significantly extend application analysis dose human IgE below 50 IU/ml. For the purposes of clinical diagnosis was the most appropriate ELISA with ABA, however, when there is the need to define micro-concentrations of analyte (10-10 g), the only possible option is ELISA with TBR. When used ELISA reagent concentration dynamic range for all modifications made three orders.

Abstract

An aqueous extracts of dandelion (Taraxacum oficinale Wigg.) for the needs of diet. The optimum conditions for extraction of biologically active substances dandelion, namely the ratio of raw materials: extractant 1:20, extraction time – 30 minutes, the temperature – 55 °C. Extraction was carried out with distilled water.
