Abstract

The formation and circumstances of Ukrainian military emigration in Germany in 1918-1939 are taken into consideration in this article. Ukrainian emigration in Germany between the wars had different origins and diverse character. By origin it can be divided into three groups. The first group consisted of Ukrainian soldiers released from German POW (prisoners of war) camps for the former Russian army, who for various reasons had not returned to Ukraine. The second one included military men of Ukrainian National Republic, Ukrainian State and Galician Army who emigrated to Germany after the defeat of the national liberation struggle of 1917-1921. The third group contained deserters from the Polish army who did not want to serve in the hostile armed forces. The Ukrainian military emigration conventionally included former officers of the Ukrainian army, who were of German origin but born in Ukraine. They went to Austria and Germany for permanent residence, where they maintained contacts with the Ukrainian liberation movement. Former Ukrainian soldiers who lived in Danzig (Gdansk) were in close connection with emigration in Germany. In the interwar period that city had the status of "free", but it was under serious political and economic influence of Germany. In general, military emigration in Germany was not numerous and consolidated. But former Ukrainian soldiers who were there, created separate environments related to their new professional status, different political orientations or participation in military organizations. Some of them, especially officers of the Ukrainian army, rallied around Hetman Pavlo Skoropadski, dictator Ieuhen Petrushevych and Colonel Ieuhen Konovalets, in various ways, were involved in the continuation of Ukrainian national liberation struggle in exile in the interwar period.

The basic model of the original PPP, given their basic characteristics, considered the economic conditions of their origin and functioning. Abstract

The paper argues for the need for Ukrainian companies' intellectual capital strategy development which, in turn, will significantly improve their efficiency and transfer to a new level of functioning. In this study we prove the dominance of intellectual capital strategy in the structure of modern enterprises' strategic portfolio. The authors have determined the following strategies for intellectual capital's development: as a means of achieving the objectives of the company, aimed at creation and efficient use of its intellectual resources; a comprehensive program of action and the system of qualitative and quantitative measurement of replenish and upgrade the components of intellectual capital in accordance with the objectives of its development; a detailed comprehensive plan to ensure competitive advantage through interaction and balanced growth of all structural elements of intellectual capital. The article focuses on the multi-purposive nature of intellectual capital, which necessitates the formation of its portfolio strategies with different combinations of subordination. The main focus of the article is made on generalization and systematization types of expansion strategies for the development of intellectual capital by various classification features to justify the selection of strategies for optimal portfolio. In the proposed typology the following strategies are figured out: in terms of implementing the strategy (global, central, regional, industrial, institutional); the nature management (centralization; sub-centralization, decentralized, mixed); the source of (external, internal); the method of obtaining (independent creation, acquisition, participation, cooperation, integration); the degree of change components (radical; improving); the nature of the growth process (generation, simulation, borrowing, copying); by type of business process management (formation, preservation and protection, transfer, use); the nature of use (strengthening, expanding, research, adaptation singles, researcher, exploiter, innovator); the type of innovation behavior (violent; patient; explerents; commutative); a competitive position (innovation leader, follower, outsider); the object management (concentrated, integrated, diversified); the structure of intellectual capital (human capital, structural capital market capital, and their interaction). The analysis of the essential characteristics of intellectual capital strategies considered in the classification is made. The emphasis is put on dialectical, flexible sensemaking of presented strategies typologies, taking into consideration the fact of evolution strategies, weave and matrix blending of different classifications in practice. We exemplify our arguments by presenting various functional strategies that make implementation possible using classifications identified in intellectual capital's strategies. Additionally, it is substantiated that the primary, landmark system of classification for all other approaches is classification strategies based on intellectual capital structure. It is therefore proposed to use provided in the article systematization framework as a methodological basis for a comprehensive understanding of the prospects for improvement and use of firms' intellectual capital.

Abstract

In the article the divergent-convergent approach to managing software development industrial company, which is based on the spiral model of the project life cycle, each stage of which is identified by the developed system of performance indicators performed work plan and wasted resources. Unlike the existing proposed approach allows time to determine the need for expansion of security or its abbreviation (divergence transition process to ensure convergence in development projects), which explains the calculation of expediency maintain software development projects output on the market or not. Other advantages of the proposed approach include the following: the possibility of analyzing the effectiveness of the project development and the impact of its resources to ensure the defined time intervals; conduct comparative analysis of the efficiency and effectiveness of the project life cycle stages of development; the possibility of determining the moment of transition from divergence processes to ensure convergence contributes to providing the rational use of resources, transparency in government; spiral lifecycle model development project combines a gradual transition from stage to stage and iterative, allowing time to reduce risk on the effectiveness of the project development and its security. Along with the advantages in using divergent-convergent model of project development of industrial enterprises, the main problem is the definition of a spiral cycle time of transition to the next stage of implementation of the selected project. As the promotion and twisting spiral must enter the time limits for each stage of the life cycle (milestones) and impact indicators of costs incurred for the organization of work of each stage (performance security). Special attention will be paid to the moment of inflection in the presented model when changing divergence convergence process management software development project Overall approach facilitates finding and developing ways to increase the efficiency of project implementation of enterprise software and processes at each stage of the life cycle.

Abstract

The history of "displaced persons" (or DPs) is one of the major historical context of the postwar period. On the European continent, it lasts throughout the second half of the 1940s in the territory occupied by Germany, Austria and Italy. From our point of view, the study of the problem has a very strong historiographical focus, which is associated with a number of national studies. Therefore, this article is dedicated to one of the main problems, which are common to all national historiography: the problem of publishing the "displaced persons". The study is based on analysis of visual journalism (publicism) as a historical source on the history of ordinary life DPs. The main source is regarded magazine "DiPiniada" (like Homer's "Iliad"), which V. Ellis (poet) and V. Odinokov (artist), published in a DPs camp Pasing-Munich. On the pages of the satirical magazine in 1946-1947 addressed many current topics of ordinary life of displaced persons. In general, "DiPiniada" is an important visual historical source. On the basis of press of displaced persons, ex-DiPi memories, the author makes two main conclusions. Firstly, "Dipiniada" magazine tells the story of ordinary life in the camps DiPi both artistic "language" (composition, shape, color solutions), and contextual "language" (behavior, manner of communication, conflict). Secondly, the satirical nature of the publication is the reason for its historical authenticity, because humor is possible only in conditions of a familiar image. It is noted that the investigation has prospects both in methodological and in the objective aspects.

Abstract

The author reviewed the documents of various periods issued in the East Slavic region and systemized widely-known historical sources on the activities of the Society of Jesus in the late XVI - early XVII cent. The present paper reveals that the source base of Jesuit practices in the abovementioned period in the East Slavic region mostly consists of archives and unpublished documents, pictorial and other artifacts. Certain documents are stored at the archives, museums and libraries in the East Slavic region. Many sources have already been translated into Ukrainian, Belarusian and Russian and published. In the times of the Russian Empire, most of the documents were published in the collections of sources sorted by the region. Some volumes of these collections contain church documents and polemic literature. In the times of the Soviet Union the documents on the activities of the Society of Jesus were mostly published and republished in subject collections. Nowadays, a number of documents and sources of the Society of Jesus have already been published in subjects collections, and researchers' papers in the territory of modern Ukraine, Russia and Belorussia. Documents and articles on the Jesuit practices posted on the Internet resources of the region and official websites of the Society of Jesus are also worth mentioning. Sources on Jesuit practices in the late XVI - early XVII cent. in the East Slavic region can be conditionally divided into three groups by the type, class, origin and the sphere of the activities of the Society. One can single out the following types of sources: verbal, pictorial, audial, behavioral and conventional ones. The verbal ones are also subdivided according to the class into written and oral. Written ones include regulatory documents, acts and recordkeeping documents, descriptive documents and special documents. According to the origin, the sources can be divided into the documents issued by the Society; documents on the Jesuit practices issued by other confessions; documents issued by certain states and their authorities; documents and papers issued by particular individuals. By the sphere of activities documents can be divided into political, financial and economic, religious and cultural ones. Each of these subdivisions will provide for an objective, comprehensive, and detailed historical research. It is clear that there is no strict rule for classifying a document according to certain type, class, origin or sphere of the activities. Many documents have features of two, three or more groups. In this case, sources are of an integrated nature. However, the general classification will facilitate any research process as it allows choosing more appropriate methods of reviewing and processing of the documents. This is the reason why it is advisable to continue to analyze all the groups of historical sources on the activities of the Society of Jesus.
