Abstract
A eleição, depois de um longo perÃodo ditatorial, de Fernando Collor de Mello para a presidência da República representaria um significativo momento no processo de redemocratização nacional. Eleito a partir de uma forte campanha de marketing, na qual os meios de comunicação de massa teriam efeito vital, a administração Collor, em pouco tempo, entraria em decomposição, exercendo a mÃdia, mais uma vez, uma função decisiva na derrocada do presidente. O presente artigo tem por objetivo abordar, de modo introdutório, o papel da revista Veja no processo que culminou no Impeachment de Fernando Collor de Mello.
