The following parameters: ectopic pregnancy in relation to age, parity, clinical symptoms, site of gestation and condition of tube were noted and tabulated using percentage. Results: Highest incidence was noticed in the age group 21-30 years (69.2%).Majority of the patients belonged to the low socio-economic status.15.3% were primiparas while 84.6% were multiparas. Maximum incidence of ectopic pregnancy was observed among para one (42.3%). Etiological factors seen were PID-29.8%, infertility and assisted reproductive techniques-18.3%. Most common clinical finding was lower abdominal pain. The typical triad of amenorrhoea, pain abdomen and bleeding was observed in 85.5% of cases. The commonest site of tubal gestation was in the ampullary region (68.3%). 61 cases (58.7%) of the ectopic gestation were found on the right side and 43 cases (41.3%) were found on the left side.93 (89.45%) specimens were found to be ruptured. Four tubes had Walthard nest on the serosa. Eight tubes had salpingitisisthmicanodosa in the tubal muscularis. Conclusion: Better understanding of ectopic gestation, various etiopathological factors and its morbid anatomy will invariably help in reducing the morbidity and mortality.
