A Comprehensive Survey on Effect of Different Process Parameters on Mechanical Properties of Sand Cast Product
Journal Title: JOURNAL OF ADVANCED RESEARCH IN PRODUCTION AND INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING - Year 2017, Vol 4, Issue 3
Abstract
Nowadays industries are working upon to produce minimum number of rejections in casting with good mechanical properties and lesser amount of defects. Sand mould casting is one of the most valuable method to produce low cost component with different varieties. There are many sand casting parameters like pouring temperature, mould temperature, gating system, cooling rate, chill materials, core design. The aim of this paper is to study about the various parameters of sand casting and their effects on mechanical properties of the Aluminium alloys.
