A Importância dos Jogos Digitais no Contexto Escolar

Abstract

When contextualizing teaching, learning seeks to rely on actions that characterize experimentation, interpretation, visualization, induction, generalization and demonstration, which can be accomplished through the interaction of learners with Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). These are contemplated by digital games and learning objects; considered supporting tools in the teaching and learning processes. Therefore, this study aims to present a systematic review of the articles referring to the use of educational games published in RENOTE Magazine from 2010 to 2016. All the surveys showed the acceptance and motivation of the students when they use educational games in the school context, negative points can be perceived in relation to the didactics of the educators as lack of preparation and unawareness of the importance of educational games for the formation of a student. It was verified that, despite technological advances, schools need to adapt to innovation and promote the training of their educators. In addition, this research made it possible to verify that the vast majority of students have knowledge and access to the virtual world (cell phone, tablet and notebook), which breaks the knowledge gap and facilitates understanding when requested.
