A Mathematical Deterministic Approach in Modeling National Economic Evolution
Journal Title: Journal of Applied Quantitative Methods - Year 2009, Vol 4, Issue 3
Abstract
In this work a regression model based on total least squares approach is presented. An application of the theoretical results in estimating the tendency of some countries economic evolution is given.

Experimental Design Techniques Applied to Study of Oxygen Consumption in a Fermenter
The dependence of the volumetric rate of oxygen consumption on the variables agitation and air flow, was studied in a laboratory scale fermenter. A 22 factorial experimental design, with four axial points and four replic...
Parallel Algorithms for Large Scale Macroeconometric Models
Macroeconometric models with forward-looking variables give raise to very large systems of equations that requires heavy computations. These models was influenced by the development of new and efficient computational tec...
On Quality and Measures in Software Engineering
Complexity measures are mainly used to estimate vital information about reliability and maintainability of software systems from regular analysis of the source code. Such measures also provide constant feedback during a...
Production Planning under Uncertain Demands and Yields
The periodic demands of a single product are forecasted and given by a distribution function for each period. The product can be manufactured in n plants with heterogeneous characters. Each plant has its specific stochas...
