A Modified Approximate Internal Model-based Neural Control for the Typical Industrial Processes
Journal Title: Elektronika - Year 2014, Vol 18, Issue 1
Abstract
A modification of the Approximate Internal Modelbased Neural Control (AIMNC), using Multi Layer Neural Network (MLNN) is introduced. A necessary condition that the system provides zero steady-state error in case of the constant reference and constant disturbances is derived. In the considered control strategy only one neural network (NN), which is the neural model of the plant, should be trained off-line. An inverse neural controller can be directly obtained from the neural model without need for a further training. Simulations demonstrate performance improvement of the modified AIMNC strategy. An extension of the modified AIMNC controller for the typical industrial processes is proposed.

An Operational Standpoint in Electrical Engineering
In electrical engineering education exists a major difficulty for first level students, namely the Laplace transform. The question is: does this ubiquitous tool is needed in an electrical engineering course? Our answer is:...
A Realization of Temperature Monitoring System Based on Real-Time Kernel μC/OS and 1-wire Bus
The traditional temperature monitoring system generally adopt some analog sensors for collecting data and a microcontroller for processing data for the purpose of temperature monitoring. However, this back-fore ground sy...
Active Comb Filter Using Voltage Differencing Transconductance Amplifiers
A new active comb filter employing Voltage Differencing Transconductance Amplifiers (VDTAs) is proposed to eliminate the selected frequencies of different signals. The proposed filter is based on VDTAs, capacitors and re...
Vector-Controlled Induction Motor Drive with Minimal Number of Sensors
This paper proposes an improved and robust induction motor drive control method which uses minimal number of sensors, providing only dc-link current measurement as a feedback signal. The proposed dc-link current sampling...
