A NEW N,N-DIMETHYLBIGUANIDIUM DERIVATIVE – SYNTHESIS AND STRUCTURAL CHARACTERISATION
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii din Bucuresti. Chimie - Year 2010, Vol 19, Issue 1
Abstract
A new N,N-dimethylbiguanidium derivative (C4H12N5)2(NO3)(ClO4) has been synthesised and characterised by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The derivative crystallizes in the monoclinic C2/c space group and the N,N-dimethylbiguanidium cation is involved in hydrogen bonds both with other cations as well as nitrate and perchlorate anions.

THERMAL ANNEALING KINETICS OF RADICALS FORMED BY THE RADIOLYSIS IN POLYCRYSTALLINE SOLID STATE OF ARGININE
The radiolysis with gamma radiation of arginine, in solid polycrystalline state, was performed at room temperature. The EPR spectra, recorded after radiolysis allowed the identification of three paramagnetic centers. A p...
