A PROTOTYPICAL HYDRODYNAMIC MINI GENERATOR OF ELECTRIC ENERGY TO BE USED IN THE CHANNEL FLOW

Abstract

This work presents the numerical analysis and scientific research of prototypical solutions for mini generators of electric energy to be assembled in small diameter pipelines. Additionally, this papers presents the construction of a test stand stimulating similar flow to the actual flow allowing testing various geometry of impellers at variable conditions. In order to optimize the impellers geometry of hydro generators the cfd analysis has been used. The characteristics of miniature stepper motors working as electric energy generators have also been assigned.
