Journal Title: Gujarat Medical Journal - Year 2017, Vol 72, Issue 2
Abstract
Congenital high airway obstruction syndrome (CHAOS) is rare& fatal anomaly in which there ispartial or complete airway obstruction at the level of larynx or trachea, which leads to a vicious cascade. CHAOS is usually incompatible with life, and needs to be diagnosed as early as possible & to be differentiated from other causes. Here, we report a case of CHAOS in fetus with 18 weeks of gestational age prenatally diagnosed by antenatal sonography and fetal MRI.
