Journal Title: IOSR Journal of Dental and Medical Sciences (IOSR-JDMS) - Year 2017, Vol 16, Issue 2
Abstract
Palatal fractures generally occur in conjunction with maxillary fractures. They rarely occur as an isolated fracture and can be easily overlooked by an inexperienced clinician as a dentoalveolar fracture. So it’s imperative to have a thorough clinical and radiographic evaluation to diagnose these types of fractures. This article reports a caseof isolated transverse palatal fracture and its management.
