A total of 14400 samples were tested , of which 1390 were found positive for typhoid. So the overall prevalence of typhoid fever is 9.6% and children (0-10years) mere maximally affected group (58.2%). In this study prevalence of typhoid was maximum among children, so immunization against typhoid will reduce the seriousness and reduce this infection among children.
