A study on the Relationship between Manager's Leadership Style and Organizational Health in Ramsar and TonekabonSchools (2012-2013)

Abstract
The present research tries to investigate relationship between managers' leadership style (MLS) and organizational health (OH) in Ramsar and Tonekabon cities in 2012-2013 academic years. Research methodology is correlation. Statistical population of the research includes all schools in Tonekabon and Ramsar (269 schools) and statistical sample included 130 managers and 130 teachers. Sampling method was stratified random sampling. Metzcus& burden questionnaire which contains 35 questions and is designed based on 5-point Likert scale was used to gather data. Organizational health institute (OHI) questionnaire was used to gather OH data. This questionnaire includes 44 questions and is designed based on 4-point Likert scale and contains 44 questions. Pearson correlation test and multi-variate regression were used. Results showed that there is direct and significant relationship between MLS and OH level in schools. There is direct and significant relationship between relationship-oriented leadership style and OH. There is not a significant relationship between task-oriented leadership style and OH. Furtheremore, there is positive and significant relationship between integrative leadership style and OH.
