Abbreviations and acronyms in English geodetic terminology.

Abstract
The article highlights terminological units of English geodetic terminology, formed by means of abbreviation processes. Special attention is paid to the classification of abbreviated terms of geodetic sphere, which include: acronyms, blends, ellipses and clippings.
