About the language model of Ukrainian society in the context of events around the Law of Ukraine "On Education"

Abstract
The bilingual model of Ukrainian society, widespread in Ukrainian science, doesn’t reflect all its features. A multilingual model more corresponds to Ukrainian society, where the role of language depends not only on the share of its carrier in the population structure, but also on the historical experience, language stability, spatial location, foreign policy influence. Recognition of a society as multilingual requires dialogue, reconciliation of positions, mutual understanding.
