ACTUALIZATION OF THE NAME OF THE CONCEPT PECULIARITY IN TERMS OF PRECEDENT PHENOMENA IN ARTISTIC DISCOURSE

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of lexem names of concepts in terms of precedent phenomena in artistic discourse. There are many researches devoted to the study of cognitive linguistics. Cognitive linguistics is a linguistic science that was formed at the end of the 20th century and is claimed to be an actively developing brunch of linguistics. Its central terms include meaning, concept, and frame. Conceptology is the branch of cognitive linguistics that studies the notion of “concept” and the methodology of its description. There is no single meaning in the dictionaries behind the term of “concept”, but all definitions complement one another. Thus, we can conclude that a concept is called a certain abstract but clearly defined idea of a “subject”, which does not arise directly from the vocabulary meaning, but is its combination with the human experience, that is impacted by undergoing cognitive treatment in connection with the national-cultural marking. Intertextuality is the presence of other texts in the text, and the cultural signs of intertextuality are presented with the help of precedent phenomena. A precedent phenomenon, in it’s turn, is a phenomenon that is important and familiar to a wide range of people, their predecessors and descendants, and which is of a person-like nature. The development of the theory of precedent phenomena is one of the most relevant linguistic areas (at the same level with study of conceptology) for today. The system of studying of precedent phenomena can be provided only with the simultaneous study of theories of intertextuality, linguistic personality, theories of linguistic activity. In the period of intensive globalization, the number of universal precedent phenomena increases, and their study becomes an inevitable part of gaining knowledge that promotes an effective dialogue of cultures in the process of intercultural communication. The peculiarities of precedent phenomena within the limits of the features of the concept PECULIARITY are analyzed in the article.
