Adaptation of Ukraine to EU requirements: experience of the Baltic States

Abstract
The problems of adaptation of Ukraine to the European Union demands, including the conditions of the Copenhagen criteria are shown; the possibility of the use of relevant experience of the Baltic States is described. One analyzed the progress of European integration in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Ukraine. One determined common and different features of European integration stages, their background and reasons. Recommendations for further rapprochement of Ukraine with the EU have been formulated.
