Adaptive strategies in modern translatology as the means of communicative and pragmatic meaning adequate rendering

Abstract
The concept of translation adaptive strategies has been highlighted in the article; furthermore, the views of domestic and foreign researchers concerning the reasons for their use in translation have been analyzed; adequate rendering of pragmatics and culture-specific issues of the original text and their reflection in the target text has been identified as priority factor prompting the interpreter to use adaptations.
