Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the relevance of the comparative legal methodology in the science of financial law. The comparative legal method enables the establishment of essential properties financial and legal phenomena. Also, this method helps to determine their excellent nature in comparison with adjacent phenomena. Comparative knowledge creates a classification and systematization of financial and legal phenomena. Comparative legal methodology establishes the truth of the legal nature of the financial and legal phenomenon and its place among such categories
