Algorithm for Optimal Design of Pressurized Toroidal LPG Fuel Tanks with Constant Section Described by Imposed Algebraic Plane Curves
Journal Title: HIDRAULICA - Year 2018, Vol 0, Issue 2
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to provide a tested, validated, and documented algorithm for optimal design of pressurized toroidal LPG fuel tanks with constant section described by imposed algebraic plane curves. Computer aided investigations are carried out using three-dimensional models and can offer high benefits for the design of toroidal LPG fuel tanks used in automotive industry.

Water Flow Transition on a Hydropower Virtually Developed Sector of Bârzava River in the Town of Resita
A water flow numerical modelling is developed on the paper for a given sector on Bârzava River where a hydropower associated deviation is assumed, in case of accidental high waters in the Town of Reșița. The model includ...
Fault Tree Analysis Used in Offshore Industry
Fault Tree Analysis is one of the engineering tools that provide a systematic and descriptive approach to the identification of systems under risk. Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) is a method to determine the reliabi...
Design and Optimization of Pressurized Toroidal LPG Fuel Tanks with Variable Section
This study addresses the design and optimization of the pressurized toroidal LPG fuel tanks with variable section used in automotive industry based on the finite element analysis (FEA) approaches, to model both thermal a...
A New Solution for Water Aeration
The paper presents a new solution of water aeration, namely: the introduction of compressed air into the water transport pipes. This eliminates those reservoirs, pumps, decanters, ponds, etc., which pursue the interventi...
Improving Roughness Using Toroidal Milling for Complex Surface Processing
The paper aims to study the processing of complex and convex surfaces using a cutting tool in a milling radius called toroidal end milling in terms of roughness. Roughness presents important influences on machine parts a...
