Abstract
Alternative methods of teaching at school and outside of school and at university cooperation between Childrens University and Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow University The author discusses the current state of alternative education and describes views pre-sented in scientific literature and in the media, showing also Polish parents interest in alternative education. In the main part of the article a research method was presented as an alternative method to work with children at school, outside of school and at univer-sity. The idea was shown on the basis of cooperation between Childrens University and Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski University in Krakow, the outcome of which was a series of classes for pedagogy students and a series of lessons for children conducted with the use of alternative research method which took place on the university premises. Finally the author assigns the presented method (following Kupisiewiczs thought) to the category of incomplete alternative approaches which refer to individual elements of educational process.
