AN ANONYMOUS LITERARY DEBATE: HİKÂYÂT-I MÜKEYYİFÂT-I ÂLEM

Abstract
Hikâyât-ı Mükeyyifât-ı Âlem which is registered “Üniversite A 367/III” at Ankara University is a literary debate in which twelve pleasure-inducing substances dispute severely in order to become the favorite of the world. The pleasure-inducing substances at work are opium, berş, marijuana, boza, beer, mead, cherry liqueur, müselles, wine, arrack, tobacco and coffee. The person who represents coffee wins the debate took place in a pavilion of Isret-abad field of Tahayyulat sanjak.
