An econometric study about the impact of high oil prices on the monetary mass, as a variable referring to the monetary policy in Algeria for the period (2000-2015)

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of oil prices fluctuations on monetary policy in Algeria, during the period 2000-2015, and by using an econometric approach based on the multi-linear regression method. The research concluded that there is a relationship between oil prices changes and monetary policy, in which influencing it indirectly: oil prices affect the supply of monetary mass, which affect the monetary policy, and finally on the oeconomic activity.
