An investigation of Salicylic Acid and biological and chemical fertilizers on component and yield of maize

Journal Title: International Research Journal of Applied and Basic Sciences - Year 2014, Vol 8, Issue 5

Abstract

In order to investigate the effects of Salicylic and biological and chemical fertilizers on the agronomic characteristics of as a complete block design with three replications as the factorial form an experiment was one as an agriculture research in Darrehshahr city in 1990. The examined factors involved three levels of phosphorus fertilizer (0,100 and 150 kg), two levels of biological fertilizer (mycorthiza fungi) (seed inoculation and seed not inoculation) and two levels of salicylic Acid (1 mm and 5/0). The results manifested that phosphorus fertilizer had a meaningful effect on the number of rows of seeds, seed weight, and maize seed yield performance. With 1 mM Salicylic Acid amount of consumption to 83/6 kg per hectare yield was 24 percent greater than the unconsumed treatment. The research findings showed that Salicylic Acid and Mycorrhiza plants can increase a stronger and better yield through stronger and better yields .
