An Overview on Innovative Advancements in Dairy Sector

Abstract
Food industry particularly dairy product is the major community for revenues. An effort to optimize production process, develop automatic production lines, information system in logistic and supply chain (farm to folk), distribution system, supermarket and packaging system to overcome the inherent disadvantages associated with the conventional methods. In this paper most recent dairy technology aspects are reviewed and analyzed for presenting overview of innovative advancements. Food supply chain is the most important in the dairy sector because food is the highly perishable items. In dairy supply chain a station buys raw milk from a number of producers after mixes the milk and send it to plant then processed it at last processed milk sell to consumer but there are various issues in supply chain as comprehensive construct (overall supply chain), strategic management, collaboration management (collaboration among the supply chain member), information management (IT use), supplier management, manufacturer management, logistic management but Information management is the very critical issue in supply chain management.
