ANÁLISIS CRÍTICO DEL PROCESO DE REFORMAS EDUCATIVAS EN ESPAÑA

Abstract
Este artículo analiza el proceso de reformas educativas impulsado en España desde la década de 1970 hasta la sanción de la Ley Orgánica para la Mejora de la Calidad Educativa (LOMCE). La LOMCE es el ejemplo más reciente de una larga serie de leyes educativas sancionadas como respuesta a un proceso de descomposición en educación. Para este trabajo realizamos un estudio sobre el proceso de reformas educativas abierto desde la transición del franquismo hasta la actualidad. Las recientes elecciones pusieron en agenda el problema, lo cual obligó a debatir la ley y la situación educativa en el país. Todo esto se desarrolló en un contexto de crisis económica sin precedentes y (luego del proceso electoral) de una crisis de gobierno que puso en cuestionamiento a todo el sistema político español. Los magros resultados en educación, verificados por organismos internacionales, nos permiten realizar una crítica al sistema político que impulsó dichas leyes, así como a los límites de una política reformista. Discutir la LOMCE, así como todo el periodo de reformas, implica cuestionar la orientación social actual de la educación en España.
