АНАЛИЗ УПРАВЛЕНИЯ КОНКУРЕНТОСПОСОБНОСТЬЮ РЕГИОНА И ПУТИ ЕЕ ПОВЫШЕНИЯ

Abstract
Competitiveness is based, first of all, on the potential opportunities of the region to ensure the well-being of the population, enjoying those competitive advantages that it possesses. Among them, one should be able to distinguish objective factors determined by its geographical location, natural resources which the land of the region accommodates, historical prerequisites for development, etc. In addition, it is equally important to distinguish those qualities that the region has or may have as a result of its own achievements in economy, demographic and social development, training of professional personnel, ensuring investment attractiveness, and others. It is essential to ensure such development of competitiveness factors to gain their resonant influence on the growth of aggregate competitive properties, when one factor starts to have a beneficial influence on other factors and thus enables achieving synergy in reaching the goal of improving the competitiveness of the region. In this paper, the main directions and proposals are given for increasing the competitive advantages of the region taking into account the learnt international experience.
