“IMPROVING STUDENTS’ CRITICAL THINKING THROUGH CREATIVE WRITING TASKS”

Abstract
The work is devoted to the study of innovative methods, particularly creative writing in prospective of critical thinking on the development of foreign languages. The study of critical thinking in teaching foreign language, especially in writing tasks to B1-B2 level learners raises great interest in methodology. It has been achieved the set aim and has proven critical thinking as an effective approach which can be used in teaching foreign languages creatively. Data used in the experiment proves once more that critical thinking and especially creative writing tasks are one of the techniques and procedures that the educator may use successfully in teaching English. So, by integrating creating and learning, students practiced the learned linguistic knowledge in a vivid and meaningful context. Many learners came to understand that they could successfully use English to accomplish a variety of tasks. There used different scientific literature, besides we presented the information from internet sites and online dictionaries. However, there was not conducted intense investigations in analyzing the influence of writing, particularly, creative writing on critical thinking. Therefore, I decided to make further researches on this topic and deliberate the outcomes.
