FORECASTING OF EMERGENCY OIL LOSSES THROUGH THE DEFECTIVE ORIFICES IN INDUSTRIAL PIPELINES

Abstract
The causes of the occurrence accidents on the industrial pipelines for oil transportation are listed. One of the main reason of accidents are the defects on the body of the pipeline, which may be revealed after diagnostic. For forecast of oil losses, that may leak from defective orifice, the information provided by statistical results of pipeline diagnostic is used. According to the local equation of Mayr-Lapplace it is calculated the probability that defects of the body of the pipe are dangerous for the safe operation of industrial pipelines. The methodology of determination of emergency losses of oil depending on the parameters of the defective orifices is proposed. The maximum possible emergency oil leaking during the appearance of defective orifices in the body of the pipe of various sizes and polluted area is defined. The comparison analysis of the oil losses through the defective orifices of various equivalent areas is executed.
