ANALYSES O F THE INFLUENCE OF CUTTING PARAMETERS FOR WEAR OF HEAD BLADE MILLING BY MACHINING OF COAL MATERIALS WPW-65
Journal Title: Tribologia - Year 2009, Vol 228, Issue 6
Abstract
This article presents the results of analysis which have been carried out in industrial terms, concern wear intensity of knife blades of milling heads by machining of coal blocks. Blocks are carried out on materials WPW-65, intended for lining of the crucible of a blast furnace, are characterized high grindability, and this cause that wear intensity of abrasion tools are high. The analysis also concerned the influence of speed and feed for the intensity of abrasion wear. We determined periods of blade duration for admitted criterion of wear and volume output.

MODELOWANIE PROCESÓW ZUŻYWANIA W WARUNKACH DUŻYCH PRĘDKOŚCI POŚLIZGU
W pracy omówiono probabilistyczny model procesu zużywania elementów maszyn w warunkach dużych prędkości tarcia z wykorzystaniem termokinetycznej teorii destrukcji. Określanie parametrów modelu opiera się na probabilistyc...
THE EFFECT OF NANOCRYSTALLINE LAYERS ON THE WEAR RESISTANCE OF GREY CAST IRON DURING FRICTION IN AN OIL-ABRASIVE MEDIUM
Friction hardening is one of the surface hardening methods with the use of highly concentrated energy sources. In the “tool-treated surface” contact area, the surface layer of a metal is heated at a very high rate to pha...
Friction forces in conical intelligent micro-bearings
In this paper is presented the method of friction force calculations in slide conical micro-bearings occurring in HDD computer discs. The authors compare they’re own results with the results that were obtained by the G.H...
LABORATORY IDENTIFICATION OF THE FRICTION PROCESS IN THE FRICTIONAL PAIR CAST IRON-CAST IRON
This paper presents an original method of a laboratory determination of the frictional process parameters in pair cast iron-cast iron. The structure of the test stand and the test samples are described, and a description...
ANALYSIS OF THE POSSIBILITIES OF USING CRN+a-C:H:W COATINGS TO MITIGATE FRETTING WEAR IN PUSH FIT JOINTS OPERATING IN ROTATIONAL BENDING CONDITIONS
In this article, the results of wear tests of a push fit joint operating in rotational bending conditions have been presented. The assumed operation conditions were similar to those for a real rail vehicle wheel set. Sam...
