ANALYSIS OF EXISTING METHODS, MODELS, TECHNICAL MEANS TO MONITOR EMISSIONS OF HARMFUL SUBSTANCES FROM THE COMBUSTION CHAMBER

Abstract

Purpose. Due to the fact that every year the gas industry more and more harms the environment, an increasing question arises as to the analysis of existing methods, models and technical means by which it is possible to control the amount of harmful emissions generated as a result of the combustion chamber of a gas-pumping unit. Methodology. Analyzing the existing methods, models and technical means for controlling emissions of harmful substances from the combustion chamber of the gas compressor unit, it has been established that it is expedient to develop an automated system in the software product of the Siemens Concern STEP 7. This system will consist of hardware and software. The hardware will be represented by three sensors: an exhaust gas pressure sensor, an exhaust gas temperature sensor and a LAND probe. Results. On the basis of the proposed hardware, namely: the exhaust gas pressure sensor, the exhaust gas temperature sensor and the LAND probe, a lower level of the system has been created in the STEP 7 software environ-ment, where the type and directory for saving the project files for the system being developed has been determined. Originality. The developed system is so unique that it allows monitoring the amount of harmful emissions entering the atmosphere as a result of the operation of the combustion chamber of the gas compressor unit and by sending emergen-cy messages can prevent the occurrence of emergencies and thereby ensure environmental safety of the environment. Practical value. The developed lower level of the program in the software product Step 7 in further scientific works can be used to develop the Human-machine interface in Scada WinCC.
