Analysis of natural frequencies and shapes of stringer-stiffened cylindrical shells
Journal Title: Вісник Тернопільського національного технічного університету - Year 2016, Vol 83, Issue 3
Abstract
The linear analysis of free vibrations of horizontally oriented stringer-stiffened cylindrical shell was analyzed. The study was conducted using finite element method. The authors investigated the effects of: changes in gravitational acceleration, type of cylinder fastening, enhancement and cross-sectional area of stringer-stiffening elements on the frequencies and shapes of non-stiffened and stringer-stiffened cylindrical shell’s free vibrations.

Mathematical modeling of non-isothermal adsorption mass transfer in nanoporous catalysts
The mathematical model of non-isothermal adsorption mass transfer in micro- and nanopores of intraparticle and interparticle spaces catalytic media, which considers effect of temperature during adsorption process, has be...
Technology in developing the innovative element base in the form of spherical hinges for the spatial drives system
The technological process of manufacturing the effective spherical joints of the spatial drive systems was developed. It is based on the formation of spherical surfaces of the hinge using the polymer-metal composite. The...
Mathematical modeling of residual stresses in spiral welded pipe
Using the Kirchhoff thin shell theory with initial stresses the mathematical model for determination of residual welding stresses in pipes with spiral weld joint was built. The values of welding stresses acting on face s...
The generalized model of interaction of ultrasonic sh-polarization wave with 2d strain field in a plane layer
Within the framework of previously developed mathematical model of small elastic perturbations propagation in homogeneously strained elastic continuum a stationary problem for interaction of a narrow ultrasonic beam of S...
Development of two-dimensional theory of thick plates bending on the basis of general solution of Lamé equations
A theory of bending of the thick plate normally loaded on lateral surfaces, when its stress state is not described by the hypothesis of Kirchhoff–Love or Tymoshenko, is suggested. Its three-dimensional stress-strain stat...
