ANALYSIS OF THE DEFINITION OF THE CONCEPT OF MEASUREMENT

Abstract
The possibility of using the different definitions of the concept of the measurement are discusses in the article. Two classes of definitions of this concept are discusses in the article. The first class of definitions includes the definitions of the measurement procedure in which the use of standards and the comparison procedure are considered. The second class of definitions includes the definitions in which the assignment of a number to the properties of the measured objects according to certain rules is used. The definition of the concept of standardless measurement is discusses in the article.
