ANALYSIS OF THE DYNAMICS OF DEVELOPMENT OF THE THEORETICAL STUDY OF ENTERPRISE COMPETITIVENESS

Abstract
The article is devoted to the development, generalization and clarification of the terminology of enterprise competitiveness and its presentation as a logical system of interrelated economic terms. Based on the analysis of search queries using the data base Scopus, GoogleScholar and V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine were selected works that reveal the content of the concept of «enterprise competitiveness»; the specifics of the definition of the concept of «enterprise competitiveness» of various authors on the basis of behavioral, structural, functional approaches, as well as the concept of quasi-competitive markets and the concept of competition based on the advantages of resources were found; the main content characteristics of the concept of «enterprise competitiveness» were established in accordance with the existing scientific management approaches and the author's interpretation of the enterprise's competitiveness was presented. The presented definition of the concept of «enterprise competitiveness» is based on the analysis of the evolution of ideas about the subject of the theory of competitiveness, is based on modern scientific management approaches and allows to establish quantitative characteristics of accumulation and use of the enterprise's production potential, which ensure its competitiveness.
