ANALYSIS OF THE LABOR MARKET IN UKRAINE AND WAYS OF ITS DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
Purpose is to analyze the concept of «labor market», to identify the main trends of the labor force in the modern labor market of Ukraine, to identify the main problems in the development of the labor market and ways to overcome them. Methodology of research. The system of methods and methodological approaches were used in the research process. In particular, were used: monographic method – in determining the problematic theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of the labor market development in Ukraine; expert and analytical method – in assessing the state of the labor market in the branches of the economy; method of economic forecasting – in substantiating the proposals to intensify the development of the labor market in Ukraine. Findings. The main problems of development of the labor market in Ukraine are considered and ways for their overcoming are suggested. The concept of «labor market» has been opened and analyzed, the main trends of the labor force in the modern labor market in Ukraine have been established. It is proved that concrete measures for the development of the labor market, which should be flexible and have an economic and social effect. Originality. Proposals for the separation of the main problems of the labor market in Ukraine and formed its reform priorities were substantiated. Practical value. The most problematic institutions that could have a more effective impact on the functioning of the labor market in Ukraine are local state administrations, social partnership bodies, federations of employers and trade unions, higher and secondary education institutions, human resources agencies, mediation services and reconciliation services. The main measures to intensify the development of the labor market in Ukraine should be: systematization of indicators of evaluation of its efficiency; Involvement of both domestic and foreign experts; constant identification of weaknesses in the institutional maintenance of the functioning of the labor market; improving its infrastructure. The results of the study will stimulate the development of the labor market in Ukraine and the success of the further overcoming of crisis phenomena.
