DEVELOPMENT OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP AS AN IMPORTANT FACTOR FOR INCREASING THE QUALITY OF HUMAN CAPITAL

Abstract
Purpose. The aim of the article is determining the role of entrepreneurship in improving the quality of human capital and the competitiveness of the national economy, developing a set of measures to ensure conditions for the effective development of entrepreneurship in Ukraine. Methodology of research. The following methods are used in the process of research to achieve the goal in this article: the methods of theoretical generalization – when considering scientific sources on contemporary issues and trends of entrepreneurship development and its role as an important factor in improving the quality of human capital; methods of analysis and synthesis for details of the research object; tabular for a visual comparison of the number of business entities with their distribution by size; comparison method to determine the dynamics of the state’s investment in human capital development (education, health care, spiritual and physical development); abstract and logical to formulate conclusions and suggestions. Findings. The main problems and obstacles existing on the way of development of entrepreneurship in Ukraine are determined. The influence of entrepreneurship on the formation of human capital (at the micro level) is substantiated. The structure of expenditures from the State Budget for the formation and development of human capital is determined, the dynamics of the number of subjects of management with the distribution by their size is analyzed and the place of Ukraine according to the rating of the World Bank in the aspect of “Doing Business” is determined. The role of entrepreneurship in improving the quality of human capital as the main factor in the development of entrepreneurship in the knowledge economy and the range of measures that could contribute to the development of entrepreneurship, can really increase its contribution to ensuring high efficiency of functioning of the domestic economy and the formation of economic growth. Originality. The proposals on solving individual problems of entrepreneurship development and its influence on the improvement of the quality of human capital of Ukraine in the conditions of strengthening of globalization processes of is received further development. Practical value. The obtained results of the research, which are expressed in the conclusions and proposals aimed at identifying the actual problems that arise in the activities of business structures and affect the process of human capital development and increase its quality, is an indispensable condition for increasing the competitiveness of the national economy in the conditions of globalization of the world.
