METHODICAL APPROACHES TO THE ESTIMATION OF ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY OF GROWING OF OILSEEDS

Abstract
Purpose. The aim of the article is the development of theoretical, methodological provisions and practical recommendations for assessing the economic efficiency of growing of oilseeds. Methodology of research. General scientific and special methods of economic research, in particular: a systematic approach − in studying the relationships between phenomena and processes in the system for evaluating the effectiveness of oilseeds production; comparative − for the comparison of economic phenomena in different time periods in order to identify the cause-effect relationship; dialectical, abstract and logical − in conducting theoretical generalizations, forming conclusions. Findings. External and internal factors that influence the efficiency of growing of oilseeds are revealed by the results of the analysis. It is established that the following groups of factors are influenced most by the results of cultivation: resource support of production activity, forecasting and planning of activities, organization of internal economic relations, economic stimulation, cooperation and integration, organizational and production structure, organization of labor and operational management, instruments of state regulation of the economy and others, which are organically interconnected, since with the changes of one of them there is a transformation of others. Originality. The complex approach to the formation of the mechanism for efficiency of cultivating oilseeds, which includes the system of resource, organizational and economic, technical and technological, regulatory and legal conditions for the production of high-quality and safe products: rational use of production potential and intensification; activation of innovative processes; development of cooperation and integration; the development of infrastructure and ensuring the optimal combination of market self-regulation with the instruments of state regulation of the agrarian sector. Practical value. The suggestions of increasing the efficiency of cultivating oilseeds based on the choice of priority directions of the industry are substantiated; they include the implementation of a complex of organizational-economic, social, environmental, technical and technological measures, based on rational use of production resources and intensification of production; activation of innovative processes; development of specialization, cooperation and integration; formation of objects of production and market infrastructure; the effectiveness of state regulation of the agrarian sector of the economy.
