INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE OF REGULATION OF EMPLOYMENT AND POSSIBILITY OF ITS USE IN UKRAINE

Abstract

Purpose. The aim of the article is to analyze the employment policy in Ukraine and study foreign experience in this area, as well as, on the basis of research, give recommendations on improving the employment policy in Ukraine. Methodology of research. General scientific and specific methods of cognition are used in the process of research. Theoretical, methodological and informational basis for conducting researches are made by scientists of domestic and foreign scientists on the issues of employment policy analysis. The following methods are used to solve the problems in order to ensure the reliability and validity of the results of the research: induction and deduction – during theoretical generalizations, conclusions; the method of analogies – when comparing the foreign experience of employment policy; economic and statistical method – in the analysis of macroeconomic policy of Ukraine; a retrospective analysis that determines the employment policy; methods of system analysis and generalization. Findings. The content and structure of the state employment policy is revealed. The expediency of forming a system for implementing the employment policy of Ukraine based on foreign experience in this area has been proved. Originality. The theoretical and practical analysis of the employment policy of Ukraine has been further developed, in particular, the content of the state employment policy is disclosed in conjunction with the introduction of measures that will improve the employment situation in the national labour market, which will contribute to the construction of a new socially oriented model of labour market regulation, improvement of the social sphere in Ukraine and the economic and social level of development of society as a whole. Practical value. The results of the study can be used by state authorities professionally engaged in employment policy in the country, as well as in the development of policy documents on improving the employment policy in Ukraine.
