ANALYSIS OF THE MODERN CONDITION OF FIXED ASSETS IN UKRAINIAN ECONOMY

Abstract
The article examines the state of fixed assets of Ukraine since 2000. Trends in the initial cost of fixed assets were determined and explained. The residual value of fixed assets was analyzed; the growth rates of this indicator were compared with the growth rates of the initial cost. It was ascertained, that over the years, residual value of fixed assets in Ukraine, adjusted for the inflation index, constantly decreased compared with previous years, this was mainly due to the constant and almost continuous increase of their wear. Data on the putting into operation of the new fixed assets, as well as the amount of capital investments in Ukraine for the period from 2000 to 2017 is considered and analyzed.
