Analysis of the speed of a searchless digital correlation-interferometric direction finder with two-dimensional correlation processing of the spatial signal

Abstract

For today, the biasing of radio electronic devices is carried out in conditions of a rapidly changing electromagnetic environment: with multipaths of radio waves, overlapping of the frequency of useful signals and noise, aprior uncertainty about the parameters of radio emission. The promising direction of the directional sale for these conditions is the use of digital broadband correlation-interferometric radio-detectors with antenna arrays and digital synthesis of its orientation diagram. The disadvantages of known methods of correlation-interferometric downlinking are the impossibility of sourcing the sources of broadband radio waves in real time or the need to use a multichannel correlator with large hardware costs, as well as the low accuracy of downlinking of radio emission sources which spectra are completely overlapped by frequency. Therefore, the development of non-search digital methods of broadband correlation-interferometric antennas using antenna arrays with high precision and the possibility of preliminary spatial selection, as well as their research is an urgent task. In the article provides an analytical estimation of the total duration of signal processing, speed and relative time efficiency of a non-search digital correlation-interferometric direction finder with two-dimensional correlation processing of the spatial signal. As a result of the simulation, it has been determined that in the case of minimum hardware costs, the unpolluted survey method ensures simultaneous exposure to real-time radio waves that fall into the frequency band of simultaneous analysis with a width of up to 60 MHz with high signal spectral density and up to 150 MHz with average signal spectrum density . The investigated posterification method has a high relative time efficiency of more than 100 times compared with the known digital spectral correlation method of positioning using an annular antenna array. At the same time, the forwarding speed is 10,000 bearings per second.
